Welcome to my practice! I am a licensed psychotherapist in California with a private practice based in San Diego. I work primarily with adults in individual psychotherapy. Originally from India, I am also an assistant professor of Psychology at Grossmont College, El Cajon, California.

I invite you to work with me so together we can understand your worries, fears, wishes, and conflicts in a way that can help you achieve the therapeutic goals you have for yourself: be it relief from your symptoms or understanding your mind for personal growth.

My clinical experiences with my patients and my own personal story as an immigrant, a woman and a fellow human span across two decades and two continents. I consider this to be one of the most salient influences on my capacity to appreciate the complexity of the human mind and relate to my patients in a deep manner.

I received my education and training in psychology from Delhi University, India and Columbia University, New York, USA. Early in my career I had the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations in a variety of settings such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, community centers and case management programs. These formative experiences in combination with my own personal development led me to pursue additional training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from the San Diego Psychoanalytic Center (SPDC). Currently, I am also a candidate in SDPC’s adult psychoanalytic training program.
